Recycling and end of life
Padino devices (Rex, Raptor) and their batteries must not be thrown in household waste: they are collected separately for recycling, as the crossed-out bin symbol on the product reminds you. Privacy policy
PadinoLabs, the publisher of this site, is the controller of the data described below. We collect only what is necessary and never sell data.
Data collected and purposes
- Audience measurement (Google Analytics): pages viewed, where visitors come from, device and browser type, approximate location and a cookie identifier. Purpose: understanding how the site is used. Legal basis: your consent, requested by the banner; without your agreement nothing is sent to Google. Retention in Google Analytics: 14 months.
- Technical logs: IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser. Purpose: security, abuse detection and proper operation of the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Kept for at most 12 months by the host.
- User account: email address, first name, last name and password (stored in encrypted form). There is no public sign-up: accounts are created by PadinoLabs to give access to the documentation. Legal basis: performance of our relationship with you. Kept while the account is active.
- Contact by email: the information in your message. Purpose: answering your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then archived for at most 3 years.

Recipients and transfers
- Scaleway SAS (France) hosts the site and its media.
- Google receives audience-measurement data if you accept cookies. This data may be transferred outside the European Union, notably to the United States, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses).
- Google Fonts: the Poppins typeface is loaded from Google's servers, so your IP address is sent to them when pages are displayed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to contact@padino-labs.com; we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr/en/complaints.
